The production of goods is always associated with emissions of substances, noise or vibrations which by and large have harmful effects on the environment. The global effects differ, according to the type of emission.
We reduce emissions, minimise our carbon footprint and optimise our use of energy through the conscious, careful use of resources and innovative technologies.
Materials, energy, waste
In order to remain competitive, we have to achieve the best possible result with the existing operational resources – and at the same time fulfil customer expectations. To this end, we continuously monitor material efficiency as part of our environmental management system.
With the rise in energy costs and climate change, controlling and reducing energy consumption is more important than ever. We are therefore doing everything we can to recognise wastefulness and constantly improve our energy efficiency.
As a company, we are also obliged to continuously optimise our waste separation system and look for waste avoidance potential. As proof of legal certainty and from our own sense of identity, we use the instrument of the annual waste balance sheet as a voluntary agreement.
